Description
This 7 Channel DSP controlled amplifier can be found in all variants of Mazda 3 from 2009 on-wards. It has a maximum power output of 240 Watts – located under the passenger seat and it is easily removed.
It’s worth noting that the Bluetooth kit runs through the amplifier – so the amplifier is ‘on’ the minute the door is opened regardless of the radio being on/off.
After repair the units are plug and play – there are no coding or programming issues – occasionally on return it is necessary to remove battery and reconnect as Bluetooth function may be ‘frozen‘.
