Mercedes ESL Emulation (bypass)

Most of the ESL got malfunctioned and needs to be replaced or bypassed. We currently offer two options to emulate ESL functionality:

1. The emulator will be built-in and programmed to the original EZS switch in order to bypass ESL (Electronic Steering Lock). From this point nothing to be connected to the ESL harness. You need to ship us your original EZS and one key for service. Once you receive back your original EZS and key just plug it back and enjoy your drive!

2. The emulator will be the external “black box” that places to the same original ESL fittings. It has to be connected to the original harness under the steering column. You need to ship us your original EZS and one key for service. Once you receive back your original EZS and key just plug it back and enjoy your drive! Note: every time you insert/remove the key the Emulator will make a motor sound indicating proper response.

No dash lights when turning key in EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch)
Electronic steering lock (ESL / EVL) cannot be heard when the key is inserted into EIS lock.
The steering wheel cannot be turned, even with the key inserted into EIS.
Fault code 9003, N26/5 ESL / ELV control unit. No feedback during unlocking. The steering is under stress.

A22449 – The electronic ignition lock has a malfunction. There is an internal electrical fault.
A25407 – The electronic steering lock has a malfunction. There is a mechanical fault.
A25408 – The electronic steering lock has malfunctioned. There is a signal fault or the message is faulty.
A25409 – The electronic steering lock has a malfunction. There is a component fault.
A25464 – The electronic steering lock has a malfunction. There is an implausible signal.

Disconnect and remove malfunctioned ESL. It is save to recycle it. Don’t ship it to us and never connect it back
Remove EIS/EZS (electronic ignition ignition switch)
Ship us the EIS and one original key only
